Duane Reade logo redesign

I'm apparently a little late in receiving this news, but NY drugstore Duane Reade is jumping on the logo redesign bandwagon. I'm not a fan. Thoughts?

    I'm not sure why, but the new logo reminds me of America's Next Top Model. I don't even watch that show...but do they have a similar logo?
