Brought to Life

These images from the Science Museum in London's exhibit Brought to Life: Exploring the History of Medicine are creepy and really rad all at the same time. Especially those antique glass eyes.

One potato, two potato...

I think I'm in serious Flea Market mode, but the site Three Potato Four has some great stuff and fun product shots.

Photos at the Flea

I've been quiet today despite the snow day because I've been working on editing hundreds of pictures for a new project for my typography class. The assignment requires us to choose a place, then make a book describing why this place is unique. The book should act as a visual diary with both images and text and does not need to conform to the conventional idea of a "book."

I chose Brooklyn Flea as my "place," and I spent the weekend photographing the flea market, the surrounding area, and the transportation I took to get there (the lovely F train).

Here is a small sample of the pictures I've been editing so far (click to enlarge).
