Final work: Brooklyn Flea

At long last, I got around to taking some pictures of my Brooklyn Flea project from my Type II class last semester. Below are some parts of the book. It's divided into sections based on reasons people shop at the flea market, such as Economy (pictured below), Community, Environment, etc. Each section begins with a few vellum pages containing quotes from vendors and shoppers at the Flea, overlaying a photograph of the market pertinent to that section. Following the vellum pages are text and more pictures relating to that section. At the end of the book is a hand-drawn/watercolored map of Dumbo, the area surrounding the market. The script typeface used throughout the book is hand-drawn, as well.
